A little about me...

I am an engineer building robots, developing hacks and driving entrepreneurship. I support the idea of open source technology and work towards developing creative tools to better peoples lives.

I received my Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from St. Francis Institute of Technology (SFIT). At SFIT, while a member of the Robotics and Automation Wing (RAW), I participated in competitions like ABU-Robocon (2013,2014,2015) and IIT Bombays Eyantra Robotics Competition (2015). I've also conducted several robotic workshops giving students hands on experience with robots and an exposure to the tools used in building them.

Currently I am working as a Sr. Project Technical Assistant at e-Yantra - Robot enhanced teaching in the Computer Science department of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-B). My current work involves training students through specifically designed competitions containing tasks in the field of robotics. This way the students learn about the various tools that is used in robotics research and they build a problem solving ideology within themselves. After graduation and before my current position, I worked as a Research Assistant at the Robotics and Automation Development Lab (RadLab) of SFIT for a year. My work involved path planning and localization of robots, efficient control systems for Autonomous Quadrotors and Hexcoptors applications, IOT Applications and Wearable Technology. I also mentored undergraduate students on their various projects and encouraged a DIY philosophy in them.

While a student, my passion for entrepreneurship led me to co-founding Avalanche Software, a front that built software solutions for companies and startups while working in secret to solve everyday problems faced by people, through code. We briefly operated in the years 2015-2016

In my studies I learnt technology is a lot like art, building something nobody else can perceive. Hence, I hold an avid passion for creative and 'out of the box' thinking.

My primary research areas include SLAM, Autonomous Control systems for multirotors, AI and Computer Vision
